THE UNSPOKEN GOODBYE

In closeness, we thrived, side by side, until a single bump, our bond burned.
The threads that wove us heart to heart Untied, unravelled swiftly, pulled apart.

No quest for reasons, no seeking why, just silent departures, with no fond goodbye.
Instead, we are lingering long, silence drowned; none of us seeking a turn around.

Ghosted by kin, more than strangers met, a silent trend we blindly set.
To bury bonds without a word Is pride’s act, absurdly stirred.

Both hands made mistakes, yet pride stood tall in ego’s lands—
No queries cast, no wellness sought, just memories, with anguish fraught.

When stalling struck our friendship’s core, we dug up faults deeply buried.
Eager to flee to skies so clear, we forgot the loss we should hold dear.
Let us mend the ties that break easily; with words of care, let misunderstandings cease.
For in each goodbye unsaid, unshared, lies heartaches in heaps, deeply layered.

So, please speak every parting gently, and leave no friendship lost in space.
For every soul that drifts away deserves the gentleness of good kind word to say.

We were chase after affection where it’s sparse, ignoring those who fill our hearts—
When bridges are burned by love’s flame, we vow never ever to face them again.

Not just bodies seeking pleasure’s peak, but deeper wounds of bias we speak—
Ours is a society flawed; misogyny marked, valuing lovers like ships wrecked.

When demands rise for an equal affection share, quick are we to strip them bare.
Love is tried on the guillotine’s edge in this game of need, where fairness dies.
