A BIRTHDAY POEM FOR YINKA MOPE OZIQUE

Yinka Mope Ozique, like a diamond shines,

A woman, my wife, a lover, a mother divine,

Her heart stays warm, her smile so bright,

In her presence, my all has stayed just right.

Her love for her us all remains a sight to see,

Her devotion to her home, staying ceaseless,

A persona of love, a beacon, and a guide for all,

Through the ups and downs, she has stood tall.

Telling tales that family ought to be pride and joy,

That the quirks of the world never should with, toys,

In faithfulness, she stays imploringly on her knees,

The world’s happiness, petitioning she pleads keen.

Yinka Mope Ozique is a mother of grace,

In her heart, love has always had a place,

That rubs off on all the lives she meets,

A spirit of love forever shining through.

The date, 4/5 of every year her birthdate is on,

That is a day slash month cue of an angel born,

For the hearts of all she touches she always resides,

A beautiful soul, shining light that never subsides.

This piece my dear wife; Yinka Mope Ozique,

Is my recall, to extol your beauty, the unique

Personality you are, your light as lovely soul,

To say thank you for this seed of love sowed.

TOPIC TODAY: is on Grandparents Interfering with ParentingTwo generations, two philosophies — who wins? Do you view your parents as "Interfering" or as "Volunteers" who need better job descriptions? Can you distinguish between an "Outdated Safety Risk" and a "Different Parenting Style"? The Big Question: If you "win" the argument but lose the grandparent’s support, who is the real loser—you or the child?
